The 2026/27 Champions League league-phase draw is scheduled to begin at 18:00 CET on Thursday 27 August, which is 5:00pm in West Africa Time. UEFA says the draw will establish the opponents for the 36 teams in the league phase.
The useful distinction is between opponents and dates. The draw reveals who each club will face, but UEFA says the full fixture list, including match dates and kick-off times, will be communicated no later than Saturday 29 August.
That means screenshots circulating immediately after the draw should be treated carefully. A valid opponent list is not automatically a confirmed match calendar. PitchNaija will publish WAT times only after UEFA releases the schedule.
